Supplemental Education Services
Your student may be eligible for free tutoring. This is at no cost to you and is in addition to the support that he/she already receives from the staff of the Met School. As part of the Federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Title 1 Initiative funding has been set aside to provide small group or individual tutoring outside of school hours. Students selected based on academic need will qualify to receive approximately 35 hours of individual or small group tutoring. Tutoring sessions may be held on the Met campus after school or in the evenings. The Met will inform you if your student has been selected for this opportunity.
The Rhode Island Department of Education has approved the following list of Supplemental Education Service Providers to provide tutoring to our students. Click on the provider name for more information.
