The MET

Over the last fifteen years Big Picture Learning Schools have hosted thousands of visitors from across the country and around the world. A visit to one of our seventy small schools allows you to experience Big Picture Learning’s philosophy of educating one student at a time by meeting and learning from real students and staff members who are dedicated to the model.

A one-day visit on a Monday or Wednesday includes a complete day in school with an advisory of students, an advisor, specialists, the principal and lunch. A two day visit on a Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday includes the day one visit (an in-school day) as well as meeting with a student and accompanying him or her to an internship site to witness our Learning Through Interest (LTI) model and meet the student’s mentor.
